I’m reluctant to write that because just when we get comfortable, then we get a dump of snow. But our 10 day forecast has 63 as the lowest temperature during the day, so I’ll take a chance.
We’ve already been enjoying the sunshine. Oli is the happiest kitty ever in the sun!
The bulbs are starting to come up. My office is overheating. I’d say that we’re on our way to Spring.
The downside? We were hoping to get the front room project done before it turned nice. That isn’t going to happen. Another downside? The NCAA tournament starts today. Now, I feel guilty sitting in and obsessing about basketball. But I’ll get over it. That’s what the computer and iPad is for – mobile viewing on the patio.
On Tuesday night, we went out on the back patio and visited a while after exercise class. Guess what we saw? Bats! Already! It didn’t seem like there were a lot of bugs out for their dinner. But Wednesday night, the bugs were out. We missed the sunset yesterday, so we didn’t get to see the bats. We’re hoping they stay out of the house this year. We haven’t done much patching though so there’s a chance. If a bat gets into the house, don’t worry. Oli will find it for us. Yuck.
Hope you can get outside and enjoy [in moderation] some Vitamin D.
